What new or advanced Technology will exist in 10 years from now?

We have technology today that was hard to imagine 10 years ago (text messaging is a very simple example), I can imagine Technology will be mind blowing in 40, 80, 200 years, but I know we're capable of surprising ourselves since we keep doing exactly that in shorter amounts of time. What do you think is possible or what are we on the verge of launching?

1. The mechanical hard drive will go the way of 8-track tape. A lot of computation will be done on the "cloud" with processors added on an at-need basis. Even more of the connectivity will be wireless.
2. Paint on shoes, that keep the sand out of your toes
3. Well, everything will be based on sunlight (which we'll never get because of the Greenhouse Effect). Fossil fuels will run out... It is a mathematical certainty.
4. My guess: The next decade will see the 'biotech' explosion. Engineered organisms for production of specific chemicals Macro structures improved with 'bio' produced micro-structure. Engineered crops to feed the population explosion. Engineered domestic animals and pets. Bio-Engineered people are coming too.'That genie is out of the bottle'. If it can't be done openly, it will be done covertly. Like it or not, we will take control of evolution.
5. normal people going to space from virgin galactic. flexible computers or tablets maybe movie printers( check out movie polaroid printer). i heard about something called a u drive Memory pen.
6. I'm still waiting for my holodeck and my individual jetpack. :-)
